2025 Infiniti QX60 Prices announced Ditches V6 For Turbo Four

Infiniti has embraced the trend of downsizing engines in favor of more efficient options by replacing the QX60’s V6 with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine for the 2025 model year. This move aligns the QX60 with its smaller siblings, the QX50 and QX55, both of which already feature the variable-compression 2.0-liter engine. Despite the reduction in displacement, this turbo four-cylinder engine delivers a commendable 268 hp and 286 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. While this represents a drop in horsepower compared to the outgoing V6’s 295 hp, the peak torque is notably higher.

Enhanced Efficiency

One of the key benefits of the new engine is improved fuel efficiency. The 2025 QX60 boasts better mileage compared to its predecessor. Front-wheel-drive (FWD) models are rated at 22 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 24 mpg combined. All-wheel-drive (AWD) variants achieve 22 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 24 mpg combined. These figures are slight improvements over the V6 model, which offered 21 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined for FWD, and 20 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined for AWD.

New Black Edition Package

In keeping with modern automotive styling trends, Infiniti has introduced the Black Edition Package for the 2025 QX60. This package enhances the SUV's appearance with several distinctive black elements, including 20-inch wheels, roof rails, grille surround, and badges. Additionally, the front badge is now illuminated, adding a touch of luxury. The Black Edition Package is available for an additional $1,900.

Advanced Technology and Safety Features

The 2025 QX60 comes equipped with a suite of advanced technologies and safety features. Standard across all models is a 12.3-inch infotainment screen that supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and SiriusXM radio. The vehicle also includes an Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, a Smart Rear View Mirror, Traffic Sign Recognition, and ProPILOT Assist with Navi-link support for single-lane highway driving. Key safety features include Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning, and High Beam Assist.
