Peugeot Opens Orders for New 2008 with Hybrid and Electric Options



 Peugeot has begun taking orders for the new 2008, offering both hybrid and electric powertrain options. Deliveries are expected to commence in March.

Hybrid Option:

  • Powertrain: HYBRID 136 e-DSC6 combines a 1.2-litre petrol engine with a 21kW electric motor and a 0.9kWh 48V Lithium-ion battery.
  • Benefits:
    • Up to 1km of electric-only range for urban driving
    • Improved fuel economy
    • CO2 reduction of up to 26g/km compared to the previous PureTech 130 EAT8 engine
    • Competitive finance offers include 0% APR over four years, no minimum deposit, and £4,000 support via the PEUGEOT Switch Grant.

Electric Option:

  • Powertrain: 100kW electric motor with a 50kWh battery.
  • Benefits:
    • 214 miles (WLTP) range for longer journeys
    • Zero-emission driving

Additional Options:

  • The existing PureTech 100 petrol powertrain remains available on Allure trim models.
