Ford is offering Mustang enthusiasts a unique way to personalize their ride with the introduction of the first-ever factory Matte Clear Film. This innovative film delivers a sleek, satin-like finish while protecting the car's original paint job.
Available on all Mustang coupe models (EcoBoost, GT, and Dark Horse) and in all factory paint colors, the Matte Clear Film transforms the iconic Mustang into a head-turning statement piece. Deliveries are expected to begin in June for coupes, with convertibles following in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Developed by PPG, the 2024 Mustang Matte Clear Film is designed to withstand the elements. It can handle harsh detergents used in car washes, road salt, bird droppings, bug splatter, and even asphalt residue, keeping your Mustang looking its best for years to come.
Orders for the Matte Clear Film open on February 27th, priced at $5,995. It's important to note that this option is not available with the Mustang Dark Horse, GT California Special package, or optional graphics packages.
With the introduction of the Matte Clear Film, Ford is giving Mustang owners even more ways to express their individuality and create a truly one-of-a-kind pony car.
