2024 SEAT Leon: Enhanced Engines, Interior, and Technology

The 2024 SEAT Leon introduces several significant upgrades, focusing on powertrain efficiency and interior enhancements. This new model eliminates the three-cylinder engine option, offering only four-cylinder versions across gasoline (TSI), mild hybrid (eTSI), diesel (TDI), and a more efficient plug-in hybrid (PHEV). The PHEV now features an expanded electric-only range exceeding 62 miles, facilitated by a larger battery.

Powertrain and Performance

  • Engine Options: The 2024 Leon is available in multiple configurations:
    • 1.5 TSI Evo with 130 or 150 horsepower.
    • 2.0 TDI with 115 or 150 horsepower.
    • 1.5 eTSI mild-hybrid with 150 horsepower.
    • Plug-in Hybrid combining a 1.4 TSI engine and an electric motor, providing a total of 204 horsepower and an extended electric range of over 62 miles.

Interior and Technology

  • Infotainment and Display: The interior now boasts a 10.25-inch digital cockpit and a new, larger 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, providing a more intuitive user experience.
  • Lighting: The updated Leon is equipped with matrix LED headlights for enhanced visibility and safety.
  • Wireless Charging: The car includes a 15W wireless charging pad, catering to the increasing need for connectivity and convenience.

Exterior and Design

  • Design Continuity: While the exterior design remains largely unchanged, the Leon's aesthetic still features its sleek and dynamic look, ensuring it remains visually appealing in its segment.
