Ford Introduces 2024 Bronco Raptor Black Appearance Package Under Solar Eclipse

Ford has unveiled the 2024 Bronco Raptor Black Appearance Package, a celestial-inspired upgrade for its high-performance off-roader. The announcement, made during the April 8 total solar eclipse and in front of owners at the Bronco Off-Roadeo Texas, marks Ford's latest effort to enhance the Bronco Raptor's appeal.

Priced at $4,995 on top of the Bronco Raptor's $90,035 MSRP and $1,895 destination fee, the Black Appearance Package offers a "sinister new look" that includes Shadow Black paint applied to the roof, roll bar, mirror caps, and fender flares. This dark theme extends further with a Matte Black steel bumper, skid plate, and tow hooks, providing striking contrasts with the Raptor's bold paint options.

Customers can also expect unique body-side graphics and hood decals to complete the package, which will be available for order at the end of April. According to Bronco Brand Manager Jason Hyde, the package aims to enhance the Bronco Raptor's distinctive appearance, which is a key factor for customers alongside its high-performance off-road capability.

Underneath its darkened exterior, the 2024 Bronco Raptor packs a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine delivering 418 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque. This power is managed by a ten-speed automatic transmission and a standard four-wheel drive system, ensuring impressive performance on and off the road. Additionally, the model features an off-road focused suspension, an electronic-locking rear differential, and 17-inch wheels wrapped in massive 37-inch tires.

The Black Appearance Package follows the vibrant Code Orange package introduced in 2023, offering Bronco Raptor enthusiasts another way to personalize their vehicles and make a statement on any trail, under any sky. Ford will start accepting orders for the Bronco Raptor Black Appearance Package later this month, giving customers the chance to elevate their off-road adventures with a touch of celestial style.
