Dacia Enhances Safety and Features for Free in the UK Across Sandero, Sandero Stepway, and Jogger Models

Dacia, known for its commitment to affordability without compromising quality, is taking a significant leap forward in safety and convenience with its latest lineup. In compliance with the new European Global Safety Regulation 2 (GSR2), Dacia's Sandero, Sandero Stepway, and Jogger models are now equipped with advanced safety features as standard, without any increase in prices.

The GSR2 legislation, set to enforce stricter safety assistance requirements starting July 6, 2024, aims to reduce road casualties across the EU and UK. Dacia's response to this legislation sets a new standard in the automotive industry, showcasing their dedication to enhancing safety without burdening the consumer financially.

Enhanced Safety Features

Traditionally, the addition of advanced safety features would come at an increased cost to the consumer. However, Dacia is breaking this norm by equipping its models with intelligent speed assist, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS), driver drowsiness and attention warning, rear parking sensors, and automatic headlights, all as standard features across the range.

To further personalize the driving experience, Dacia has introduced the innovative ‘My Safety’ button, allowing drivers to quickly access and adjust their preferred Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) settings with a single click.

Convenience Upgrades

In addition to bolstering safety measures, Dacia has also introduced several convenience upgrades across its lineup. USB-C ports are now standard in all models, ensuring compatibility with modern devices. The Jogger HYBRID 140 model now features a 7-inch instrument display, previously seen in the All-New Duster, along with an E-SAVE function, enabling drivers to reserve battery power for later use during their journey.

Stylish Design and Customization Options

Dacia hasn't stopped at safety and convenience upgrades; they've also refreshed the design and customization options across their models. New wheel designs and color choices are now available, including two-tone Atara Flex wheels and Randia alloy wheels on selected versions. The Sandero Stepway introduces the exclusive Safari Beige finish, enhancing its distinctive appearance.

Moreover, customers can now choose from the Shadow Grey and Cedar Green shades, previously reserved for higher trim levels, across the Sandero and Sandero Stepway range.

Affordability Maintained

Despite these significant enhancements, Dacia remains committed to affordability. The Sandero continues to be priced from £13,795 on-the-road, with the Sandero Stepway and Jogger priced from only £15,295 and £18,295 respectively. This commitment to offering high-quality, safe vehicles at accessible prices solidifies Dacia's position as a leader in the automotive market.

Dacia's proactive approach to safety, convenience, and affordability sets a commendable standard for the industry. By prioritizing customer safety and satisfaction, Dacia continues to redefine expectations and deliver exceptional value to drivers across Europe.
