Dacia Elevates the Sandero and Sandero Stepway Experience with New Options

Dacia, known for its no-frills yet dependable vehicles, is stepping up its game with the latest enhancements to its Sandero and Sandero Stepway models. The introduction of the Journey trim level and the turbocharged TCe 110 engine marks a significant milestone, offering consumers more choice and power than ever before.

Turbocharged Performance: TCe 110 Engine

One of the most exciting updates comes in the form of the TCe 110 engine now available for the Sandero Stepway Extreme. This turbocharged powerhouse churns out 110 hp and 200 Nm of torque, delivering a punchy performance while maintaining impressive efficiency. With a WLTP combined fuel economy of 45.6 mpg and CO2 emissions of just 125 g/km, the TCe 110 engine strikes a fine balance between power and eco-friendliness. Paired with a six-speed manual transmission, it propels the Sandero Stepway from 0 to 62 mph in a brisk 10 seconds, ensuring an exhilarating driving experience.

Expanded Powertrain Options

The TCe 110 engine joins an already diverse lineup of powertrain options for the Sandero Stepway Extreme, including the TCe 90, TCe 90 automatic, and TCe 100 bi-fuel variants. This expanded selection caters to a wide range of preferences, from fuel efficiency seekers to performance enthusiasts, ensuring there's a Sandero Stepway to suit every driver's needs.

Journey Trim Level: Elevated Comfort and Convenience

Meanwhile, the Sandero receives a boost in comfort and convenience with the introduction of the Journey trim level. Drawing inspiration from its popular Duster counterpart, the Journey specification adds a plethora of premium features to the five-door supermini. From automatic air conditioning and rear parking sensors to a reversing camera and Blind Spot Warning system, the Sandero Journey is equipped to tackle the urban jungle with confidence and ease. The inclusion of the MediaNav infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity further enhances the driving experience, keeping occupants entertained and connected on the go.

European Global Safety Regulation 2 Compliance

In addition to these enhancements, both the Sandero and Sandero Stepway ranges are now European Global Safety Regulation 2 compliant, underscoring Dacia's commitment to safety. With enhanced ADAS features meeting the latest regulatory standards, drivers can enjoy peace of mind knowing that their vehicles are equipped to handle the rigors of modern-day driving.

Available to order from 3 April 2024, the Sandero Journey is priced from £15,795 on-the-road and the Sandero Stepway TCe 110 costs £18,645 on-the-road
