The Ford Mustang, the world's best-selling sports car, has been redesigned in Europe, featuring a digital cockpit supported by cutting-edge Unreal Engine computer game technology. The Mustang convertible offers eye-catching style with open-air freedom, with the fully lined and insulated roof allowing for easy raising or lowering in eight seconds. The convertible also has a compact design, allowing the boot to fit two golf bags. Inside, a fully digital display with a 12.4-inch instrument panel and a 13.2-inch central screen angled towards the driver creates a jet plane cockpit feel.
The Unreal Engine gaming software supports interactive animated graphics, and the driver can easily alter settings via the central display. Ford doubled the computing power of the entertainment system for the new Mustang, with the SYNC 4 system adapting to display the functions that each driver uses most. The Mustang also features wireless smartphone integration for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 5G connectivity for music streaming, and cloud-connected navigation for real-time traffic updates. The Euro-spec model closely echoes its American counterpart, with slender LED headlights, an aggressive grille, and a revised color palette.
