2024 Jeep Renegade Gets New Infotainment System In Europe

The Jeep Renegade, a popular model with nearly 2 million units sold worldwide, is celebrating its tenth anniversary with updates for Europe. The 2024 model offers a new infotainment system, faster processing, larger Full HD displays, and enhanced connectivity.

The 2024 Renegade is a technologically advanced vehicle with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch infotainment system, 40% larger than its predecessor. This system offers five times the processing power for instant touch feedback, faster route calculations, and swift voice responses. The infotainment system offers a larger, more immersive experience with FullHD larger displays, providing clear and vivid visuals. The system also offers exceptional connectivity, with 4G capability and over-the-air updates. The infotainment and safety features are impressive, including a new radio with a 10.1-inch display and a larger cluster, a digital camera, USB A+C Type connectivity, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Safety features include Forward Collision Warning, TBM, and Connected Services.

Jeep's new Infotainment system simplifies connected services by synchronizing information between the Jeep app and the vehicle's infotainment system. This eliminates the need for car keys and allows for remote control of navigation. The system also updates TomTom navigation maps "over the air," providing comfort and time savings. Voice commands support on-board navigation, weather forecasting, and nearby car parks. Jeep's Renegade 2024 includes Amazon Alexa voice assistant.

The Jeep Renegade 2024 series offers a range of trims that cater to the needs and preferences of customers. The entry-level model, available on the mild-hybrid powertrain, features the new Infotainment system, steering wheel, and USB port type A+C. The Altitude trim level offers a blend of features, including Full LED Headlamps, Taillamps, LED Front Fog Lights, High/Low LED beams, LED Daytime Running Lights, 17" Alloy wheels with Summer Tires, roof rails, Automatic Air Conditioning, Electrochromic Rearview Mirror, Rear Parking Sensors, and PHEV-specific features like pre-conditioning, Selec-Terrain, and a Mode 3 charging cable.

The Summit trim level exudes premiumness and comfort both inside and out, featuring 18-inch Alloy wheels, heated front seats, a Leather and Heated Steering Wheel, Windshield Wiper De-icer, and Carpeted Floor Mats. The Overland trim blends style and functionality, featuring 17-inch Alloy wheels with M+S tires, an off-road bumper, black-painted mirror caps, spacious 40/20/40 rear seats, and a digital camera for safety.

The Trailhawk trim offers rugged capability and interior comfort, with dedicated fabric seats, essential features for off-road adventures, and a Red Tow hook, 215/60R17 Temporary Use Spare Tire, Hood Decal, and All-Season Floor Mats. These features make the Jeep Renegade an excellent choice for off-road enthusiasts seeking a reliable and robust vehicle for challenging environments.

The Jeep Renegade 2024 offers two hybrid powertrains: the e-Hybrid and the 4xe plug-in hybrid. The e-Hybrid manages the propulsion system by automatically switching between full electric, hybrid, and internal combustion engines based on factors like the 48V battery state of charge and real-time driving conditions. It excels in delivering full electric propulsion during launch, low speeds, cruising, and parking maneuvers. The 4xe plug-in hybrid uses both electric and endothermic engines, generating increased torque for precise adjustments and enhancing four-wheel-drive capability on various terrains. The MY24 Renegade will introduce an optimized new calibration of the engine and battery, combining with the introduction of new A+ class 18'' tires, to improve fuel consumption and CO2 emissions up to 5%.
