MAZDA ANNOUNCES THE 2025 CX-70

Mazda North American Operations has unveiled the first-ever 2025 Mazda CX-70, a vehicle designed with drivers in mind. The CX-70 is built on Mazda's large platform and features advanced powertrains that offer responsive and electrified performance. Customers can choose from an e-SkyActiv G 3.3L Inline 6 Turbo engine with M-Hybrid Boost or an e-SkyActiv G PHEV, providing the best of both worlds in performance and efficiency.

The CX-70's design is characterized by its natural, athletic posture, modern and sporty touches, and a wide and low front fascia and chiseled front end. The vehicle's aggressive appearance is further enhanced with contrasting black accents throughout the exterior and available black metal and machine cut finished 21-inch wheels.

The interior is meticulously sculpted, feeling wide and open yet personable and comfortable. The expressive, varied interior color palette is complemented by high-quality materials and finishes, such as contrast gray metallic inlays. The cabin features red Nappa leather and red stitch detailing inspired by the 100th Anniversary Special Edition MX-5, offering a distinctly sporty theme.

The CX-70 implements several new features to improve everyday utility and encourage active lifestyles. These include remote-folding rear seats for easier loading, a rear cargo area optimized for storage, and a unique sub-trunk design that allows owners to stow valuables out of sight.

The CX-70's sense of utility and functionality is further enhanced with several new assistance technologies, including Unresponsive Driver Support, which adds an emergency-only system to automatically decelerate and stop the vehicle if the driver is unresponsive to escalating alerts. Additionally, the integration of Alexa allows the driver to make hands-free commands for prompts like changing the temperature or controlling their smart home devices. Mazda's purposeful approach in designing the CX-70 elevates it to a higher standard.
